Thanks for your reply!, that's interesting as previously I'd had the rear beam axle bushes greased up as they did report they were dried out but it didn't fix my issue.
They seem to start knocking on rough roads at around 150k. Took my Mk7 DTI back to my dealer today as I thought I could hear the knock that has been mentioned on roughish roads at slower speeds, which I could also faintly detect at high speed too. First the Retainer Circlip Ring has to be removed, Next, you will have to push out the bearing.You will need a special collar and a hydraulic or Screw-operated Pressing Mechanism, Press-fit the new bearing into the Wheel-hub cavity using the same mechanism but keeping the brake drum in inverted condition.

Jack up your Ford Fiesta until the wheel can move freely. @stefan37724, Try to flip down the rear seats and if the noise is gone grease the metal rings were the seat snaps in :-). Shock was replaced.
